The Atlanta Paramveers, owned by Jayesh Patel and Seema Desai Patel, recently launched a major initiative to help overall cricket in Atlanta, Georgia, and the USA. The introduction of a fifth cricket field at the Paramveers Sports Complex in Cartersville, Georgia, went well with the blessing of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and a Puja, performed by Pujya Yoginayandas Swami and Pujya Yagnanand Swami from BAPS Temple, Atlanta.

For more than two decades, the Atlanta Paramveers family has sponsored and hosted many cricket-related events in Atlanta, Georgia. The dedication of the fields is to support cricket in general, and youth cricket under the Atlanta Paramveers Youth Cricket Academy is a significant step to increase participation and develop young cricketers in the area and the USA.

Five cricket fields next to each other at the same venue is a rare find in the USA. It does promise many future possibilities for cricket development and competitive events. Visioners Jayesh and Seema Patel spent many years at high personal costs, hoping to significantly impact cricket in the area. The Atlanta Paramveers and its affiliated teams, academies, and youth programs will primarily use the new fields.

Even under COVID-19 downtime in 2020, the Atlanta Paramveers won the prestigious US Open Championship with MVP and star performer of the tournament “The Universe Boss” – Chris Gayle. The teams included Rayad Emrit, Akeal Hosein, Khary Pierre, Damian Ebanks, Wayne Parnell, Johnson Charles, Marquino Mindley, Kissoondath Magram, Garth Garvey, Steven Taylor, Roland Cato, Ivory Dyer, Alzarri Joseph, Mark Parchment with local players Param Patel, Darpankumar Patel, and Heer Patel.

Atlanta Paramveers’ astounding progress has led to many local, regional, and national championships over the last decade. And now its cricket academy is about to launch its plans for youth cricket during this summer.

The 2021 Atlanta Paramveers’ USA Cricket Minor League team is ready to compete this entire season. Having home cricket facilities is a plus for the Paramveers players to have ample time for their season preparation.

Supporting the Atlanta Paramveers is expert cricket coach Monty Desai, a talented cricket manager, former Cricket Canada coach, and current West Indies batting coach who has helped the Paramveers win the US Open 2020. Jatin Patel, renowned multi-sports coach, mentor, and professional sports analyst, will provide services as head coach for the 2021 season and is onboard to help and train the academy coaches to launch new programs.

Besides notable coaches, team Manager Suren Gundavaram, and other local volunteers – Nikunj Patel, Alkesh Patel, Pramod Pawar, and many others contributed their time and expertise as Atlanta Paramveers looks forward to growing youth cricket in the State of Georgia, USA. Many more grounds are in the pipeline. The Atlanta Paramveers organization is seeking your support and blessings.

Atlanta Paramveers owners Jayesh Patel and Seema Desai Patel expressed their happiness with a joint statement – “It’s a dream come true for all of us. It is our vision to help the game and provide all possible support to all players out there. Lack of local facilities was our biggest hurdle, even though the team enjoyed tremendous success by winning many championships over the last decade, including the major USA Open last year with the support and help from the Universe Boss – Chris Gayle. We believe our players can do well with our facility in the local area. Our goal is to help the cricket fraternity and players by providing such a facility that hosts many more events and its huge potential for many other initiatives to develop the game here in the USA. We are also delighted that Iain Higgins, CEO of USA Cricket, visited our complex during his recent trip to Atlanta. Besides winning championships, we have a strong administration and management team to run our Paramveers operations. We are hopeful to have more support from enthusiastic cricket lovers and true fans as investors in our future needs.”
