SATURDAY – vs. Punjab 11 – Scorecard
Richmond Hill Liberty defeated Punjab 11 by a convincing 109 runs in their NYNCL Rockaway Premier Division Saturday League encounter. Azeemuddin Khan supported him well, adding 18 runs.

Richmond Hill Liberty lost a few wickets quickly after that, but they kept the scoreboard ticking with useful contributions from the middle order. The team eventually managed to put up a total of 182 runs on the board.

In response, Punjab 11’s chase got off to a terrible start as they lost Asif Mushtaq for a golden duck off Shamal Angel’s bowling. The top order failed to make a substantial contribution. Balwinder Singh tried to rescue the innings with a quickfire knock of 18 runs, but he was the only batsman to reach double digits apart from Nav Sandhu’s 12 runs.

Shamal Angel was the star with the ball for Richmond Hill Liberty, picking up five wickets for 25 runs in his six overs, while Andrew Tomby also contributed with two wickets. In the end, Punjab 11 were bundled out for just 73 runs in 16 overs, and Richmond Hill Liberty emerged as the deserving winners.
