Batted first, Enmore made 205 in their allotted 40 overs. L. Shoy who was looking comfortable for another big score was giving out for hit wicket for a well-played 53 (5x4s and 2x6s). Antonio Chand made 23, S. Mohammed 39 (4x4s and 1×6) and H. D’Oliveria made 33 (4x4s). Bowling for Hillside J. Mangal took 3 for 53 in 8 overs, and A. Shazad had 2 for 40 in 8 overs.

Boujhnarine Persaud produced a match winning knock of 57 not out.

In reply Hillside started their innings with S. Allie and R. Narine, who fell for three in the 6th over and from there on Hillside struggled to score off the bowling of M. Montana and S. Persaud.

In the 16th over Hillside scored only 58 runs. It was a very poor batting display by S. Allie who batted 23 overs for 38 runs. With the pressure on the captain Zamal Khan who was trying to bat at both side of the wicket fell for 26 runs (4x4s) and was bowled by H. D’Oliveria, he also removed Mangal for 11.

Hillside in deeper trouble to reach their target and only hope was Boujhnarine Persaud. Persaud who made a match winning 57 not out (2x4s 3x6s) took the game away from Enmore. Persaud who is consistence with the bat has shown he is capable of doing the job whenever it is needed. He is a calm and elegant batsman when at the crease. He is also a very good fieldsman with a pair of safe hands.

Hillside reached their target in the last over of the game.
