The New York Cricket Academy U19 team is ready to compete in the NYR U19 Tournament which kicked-off last Saturday, July 23rd in Queens NY at Baisley Cage where fans will witness a very strong EACA squad vs. Tristate Youths.  Triston Carmichael will lead the Academy boys against the EACA Lions on Saturday, July 30th at Baisley Cage.

Sources stated that the New York Cricket Region will use this tournament as a selection process for the NYR under-19 boys.  The organizers, players, coaches and managers must all be commended for their effort made in promoting youth cricket in the Tristate area once again.

The New York Cricket Academy, a fully insured organization recently took part in the Inaugural Staten Island Youth Cricket Festival.  This cricket festival celebrates the 350th anniversary of Staten Island.  The Under-17 Academy boys defeated a SI Youth XI on Tuesday and defeated Washington Youth XI on Thursday to win the Inaugural SI Youth Cricket Festival.  The Academy would like to thank the organizers and Staten Island Cricket Club for their warm hospitality.

The Academy plans on teaming up with the New York Partnerships for Parks.  Partnerships for Parks is an innovative joint program of City Parks Foundation and the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.  Partnerships for Parks help New Yorkers work together to make neighborhood parks thrive.  Members of the New York Youth Cricket Academy plans on working together to enrich Baisley South Park.
