Northern California Cricket Association (NCCA) kicks off its youth league on March 31 at 12 noon. The event will take place at Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center, 16500 Condit Rd, Morgan Hill, CA 95037. City Council Member Mr. Rene Spring of Morgan Hill City, has agreed to be the chief guest at the inauguration of the youth league. The NCCA invites all cricket lovers to the inauguration and to participate in the event.

There are 19 teams from six different youth academies and clubs participating in the first phase of the tournament and there will a year-round calendar for the league. One of the key objective of the youth league is to provide a neutral platform for youth cricketers in the Bay Area and the surrounding cities to play competitive cricket.

The participating age groups in Phase 1 are – U15/U13/U11

Approximately 300 unique players will be playing in Phase 1 and across various age groups of the 19-team roster. The NCCA sees the tournament as cricketers and other stakeholders joining forces to build cricket at the grassroots level.
