A rigorous 3-day high performance camp conducted by Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy (DLCA) in partnership with Texas Cricket Academy (TCA) just concluded in Dallas. The camp ran from March 12th to 14th March, was first of its kind, which included indoor and outdoor playing areas.

The high performance sessions introduced the participating kids with latest set of cricket specific drills that are used by international professional cricket players.  Most of these kids were from the DFW areas, and few cricket playing kids joined from Atlanta, Houston and Austin. The high performance camp reiterated the core message of academy to have fun while playing cricket and work hard to become better at it. It was a great experience for all the kids, with few as young as eight years-old, as they were exposed to various warm up games, strength and conditioning drills, skills testing, match tactics and overall game development scenarios.

Shaun Seigert, head coach of DLCA and his coaching team were assisted by TCA coaching team headed by coach Thiru Kumaran (Kenny), ICC Americas performance analyst Unni Krishnan, former USA cricket captain Orlando Baker and Cricket Australia Level 2 coach Rajesh Cherukupalli.
