Middlesex started their inning with Donwell Hector, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Windward Islands batsman and former St. Vincent and the Grenadines, youth player, skipper Mark Audain, it was a record 1st wicket partnership of 232 runs, the diminutive Donwell Hector was in nonsense mood, batting aggressively, playing the ball to all parts of the field, he played basically every shot in the book, the skipper played his role very nicely, giving Hector very good support, his inning was mixed with aggression and sound defense, Hector was the first to go for his 3rd century of the season, a magnificent 142 (20 x 4s and 1 x 6).

Mark Audain was next to go run out, attempting a sharp run, and was brilliantly run out via Hofmas, and Greenidge combination, he went for a well played 72 (9 x 4s), Middlesex suffered a quick four wickets collapse, losing Rod Michael for a duck, Treldon McMillan for a duck, Jacob Emmanuel for 8 and Afron Byam for 12, at the end of the 35 allotted overs, Middlesex 284 for 7 wickets.
