Weather permitting, Sunday August 1, 2010, the Nassau league is anticipating an exciting conclusion to it’s 20/20 Tournament. After nine rounds of scintillating 20/20 cricket, four teams have advanced to the 2010 play-offs – Pure Players, West Indian Alliance, Brooklyn Queens and Hempstead.

Pure Players (9-0) finished as the top team and is lead by their star batsman Richie Sieuchan who scored a century and several fifties in the preliminary round.

West Indian Alliance (8-1) finished second place and would be hoping that pace-man Lincoln LeBlanc find his stride if they are to get into the final and win it all. Brooklyn Queens (7-2) finished in third place after beginning the season with two consecutive losses.

Hempstead (6-3) finished in fourth place after beginning the season 4-0. They will be looking for some big innings from their 21 year old star batsmen, Alvin Kalimottoo and Andy Haricharran. Play-off Schedule: Sunday, August 1, 2010
