Nitish started playing cricket six years ago, taking lessons from his father Mahesh Jayachandran. He has participated in coaching sessions conducted by Coach Earl Daley at StarSportsUS indoor facility in Pennsylvania, since 2012. He started playing for StarSportsUS Knights youth team in 2013 and has made great strides since then.

Nitish achieved various batting records at tournaments including the NATA League, and a recently conducted BOCC Youth Tournament. He also led the StarSportsUS Knights team as Captain in the recently concluded BOCC Youth tournament and under his leadership the team emerged the 2nd runner up.

With his off spin bowling and excellent batting skills, Nitish Mahesh was easily noticed by the local cricket league teams while playing indoor and outdoor tournaments. This year Nitish was invited to play in the Adult 40-overs league for Rockers Cricket Club in the Philadelphia Cricket League, and on his debut T20 game he claimed three wickets.

Ritvik Varkhedkar started playing cricket in 2010, taking lessons from his father Vaibhav Varkhedkar and attending coaching sessions at StarSportsUS under the stewardship of Coach Earl Daley over the past four years. Ritvik always had great eye and hand coordination, securing him the role of wicketkeeper-batsman. Along with his wicket keeping and batting skills, he is a true all-rounder who can also bowl right-arm leg spin.

Since the formation of StarSportsUS Knights team, Ritvik has played various tournaments and excelled as each performing his job easily and effectively. As a result of his skills as a leader, he was chosen to be skipper of the StarSportsUS Knights team, and has captained the team until last year. He supported the team a lot during its initial team building period, and handed over the captaincy to Nitish Mahesh, focusing more on his batting and wicket-keeping activities, which has paid rich dividends.

This is a start for many more awards and accolades to follow for these two young talented players, and StarSportsUS through the support of parents is committed to producing more young and talented players in with the help of Coach Earl Daley and on field Jr. coach Vinay Bansal.
