In the T20 final played Sunday, October 02, 2011, West Indian Alliance won the toss and asked United Sports Club to take first strike.

United Sports Club scored 185 runs for the loss of three (3) wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Steve Massiah gave United Sports a brisk start, scoring 43 runs out of the 57 runs scored in the first 6 overs of the inning.

However, former Trinidad National player, David Mohamed, stole the show with a swashbuckling 90 runs not out. His inning includes 7 huge 6’s and 7 x 4’s.

West Indian Alliance conceded 51 runs in the final 2 overs due to some superb hitting by Dave Mohamed.

Bowling for WI Alliance Sunil, St. Jean and Chris picked up 1 wicket each.

West Indian Alliance, in reply, scored 118 all out in 18.2 overs.

K. Persaud 43 runs, R. Toussaint 23 runs and S. Ractoo 17 runs were the main contributors for West Indian Alliance.

Bowling for United Sports Club, Glen Lorick and B. Ramkelawan took 2 wickets each. Sewdat, Sunil and Ram Singh picked up 1 wicket each.

Result: United Sports Club defeated West Indian Alliance by 67 runs.

Massiah and Mohamed were dominant throughout the Nassau Cricket League T20 Tournament with some sensational batting display.

In the four (4) matches played, Steve Massiah scored 50 runs against Hempstead, 53 runs against West Indian Alliance, 87 runs not out against Breakaway and 43 runs against West Indian Alliance in the final – averaging 77.67 in the tournament.

While David Mohamed scored 69 runs against Hempstead, 48 runs against West Indian Alliance, 47 runs against Breakaway and 90 runs not out against West Indian Alliance in the final – averaging 84.67 in the tournament.
