The Under 17 tournament, which is sponsored by the 125 year old Staten Island Cricket Club, is part of Staten Island’s 350th anniversary. The tournament was held during July 19th – 21st at Walker Park located at 50 Bard Ave. Staten Island, NY 10301.

The Staten Island Cricket Club, founded in 1872, has been long played an important role in the development and introduction of various sports to the city, and in the extension of historic sporting opportunities to women.

Walker Park, the venue of this cricket festival, has hosted national tennis championships and international cricket matches featuring such legends of the sport as Garry Sobers, Don Bradman, Gillbert Jessop, and Everton Weekes.  The cricket club continues to prosper and is known for diversity, featuring members from all parts of the world.
