New York Cricket Region
The second game between the New York Tigers and the New York Crusaders will take place on Friday, August 9 at Gateway Oval. The game will start at 11:00 am so players should be there no later than 10:15 am. The game will be played in white clothing.
The Tigers won the first game by 43 runs and the Crusaders will be coming strong to even the series. Crusaders will have the first pick of the new players entering the draft.
This game will also be used by New York Region to evaluate and select Under 19 players for the Bi – Region competition with the Atlantic Region scheduled for Saturday, August 17 at Marine Park. Under 17 players who participate on Friday will also be evaluated on Saturday, August 10 at Gateway, starting at 11:00 am.
All players within those age groups who wish to participate are asked to turn out for the events.
