NYC Gets Another Cricket League

Welcome to New York National Cricket League (NYNCL). The NYNCL is the “Sister or Saturday League” of the Commonwealth Cricket League.

The NYNCL is led by Deodat Arunasalam, President, Subhas Powan Persaud, Director of Operations, and Leroy Jackman, Secretary/Treasurer.

Fees for 2017 has been set at $2,000. for the 30-overs and T20 tournaments, covers matting, field preparation and thirteen (13) player uniform sets per team. The individual teams will be responsible for Umpire fees, which has been set at $80. Per match if two umpires are present, or $55 if only one officiates the match.

The recognized grounds are Whitestone Park 1 and 2, Kissena Park 1, 2, and 73rd Avenue Park, as well as Beach 32nd Street.

Prizes
The winning team will received cash incentives, trophies, and the entrance fee for the following year will be waived.

The runner-up will receive a trophy, and 50% of the entrance fee for the following year will be waived.

There will also be prizes and trophies for individual players, like League MVP, Centurions, five-wicket haulers, most wickets, and most runs.

A weekly MVP will be identified and rewarded.

There will be a Presentation Ceremony at the end of the season, and all are invited.
