Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket is the official coaching partner and provider for the country’s most decorated domestic team, Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Established in 2006 by Yorkshire’s former Captain and new Head Coach Andrew Gale, Pro Coach has had an impact on over 15,000 cricketers around Yorkshire, as well as other parts of the UK. Hundreds of these young players have progressed onto representative honors with District, Taverners or County-age group sides.

What we are bringing to the California Cricket Academy:
Pro Coach Head Coaches David Foster and Nick Robinson are bringing the Yorkshire way to California! Our coaching methods hail straight from the professional game with our coaches working with the county squad on a regular basis.

David has represented both Northants and the combined universities in first-class cricket whilst Nick has played for Yorkshire all through age groups and now is an integral part of the coaching wheel to produce players for Yorkshire!

Our Master Classes and Elite Week will open your eyes to what it takes to become a county cricketer and train the Yorkshire way. Sessions will be held on:
February 18th and 19th: Junior Batting & Bowling Master Class
February 25th and 26th: Senior (over 14’s) Batting & Bowling Master Class

Batting: Across the two days we will combat both batting against fast and spin bowling. Develop your game in both attack and defense against all types of bowling. Drills and skills used to develop technique, mental awareness and tactics against all bowlers. This is a must for all batsmen looking to take their game to the next level.

Bowling: Players will partake in a 2-day program focused on honing techniques through the use of video analysis, unique training aids and drills. Here is what you can expect on the course:
Use of video analysis: Unique drills used by pro cricketers to improve players quickly and progress them to the next stage of their development |Current & innovative information hailing straight from the modern era of the game.

Elite Week – The Ultimate Cricket Coaching Experience
Be a part of the first ever Elite Week in America!
February: 20th-24th
10am – 1pm Under-13’s and 2pm-5pm Under-16’s

Elite week is the most comprehensive package available to any junior cricketer. Utilizing all skills learned we will test each player in match based net scenarios and open net sessions.

Ideally suited for cricketers looking to test themselves and play out of their comfort zone. Each area of the game will be covered in detail before pitching your skills against the rest in a series of game based nets and competitive training games.
