Roy Sweeney Oval, Brooklyn NY – The PSAL Blue Select team led by Coach Lomarshan Persaud (Richmond Hill), and Coach Paul Allen (Brooklyn International) defeated the PSAL Orange Select team led by Coach Alex Navarrete (John Adams), and Coach Steve Clarke (Springfield Gardens) in the 2017 NYC Mayor’s Cup Cricket Championships.
The PSAL Blue select team scored 175 runs for 9 wickets off 20 overs. Brooklyn International’s Tareq Manawar, swinging for the Blue Select team was named the match’s Best Batsman. The PSAL Orange team scored 143 all out in 18.1 overs. Wearing an Orange Jersey, Wingate’s Jason Camacho was name the Best Bowler of the match.
