Six players from the ICC Americas Region (three from the USA and three from Canada) were yesterday drafted to participate in the 2016 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). They include:
Ali Khan – Guyana Warriors
Hamza Tariq – Trinbago Knight Riders
Nitish Kumar – St Lucia Zouks
Nikhil Dutta – St Kitts and Nevis Patriots
Steven Taylor – Barbados Tridents
Timroy Allen – Jamaica Tallawahs
The selection of the players followed the ICC Americas Combine in Indianapolis during September last year, and the subsequent selection of the ICC Americas team to play in the WICB’s Nagico Super50 last month.
