ICC High Performance Camp – Barbados
ICC Americas registered an easy 22-run victory over a Barbados Under-23 Invitational team when they met on Tuesday, December 16 in a T20 encounter. The Americas team is in Barbados courtesy of an ICC High Performance Camp.

ICC Americas won the toss and elected to bat first at the Desmond Haynes Oval in Barbados. They posted a total of 110 off the allotted 20 overs. Steven Taylor led the batting with 44 off 31 balls, including 2 fours and 3 sixes, in his 60 minutes at the middle. The only other batsman to get into double figure was T. Manders had a knock of 16 off as many balls as Taylor, and in 44 minutes at the crease.

A. Jones was the most successful bowler as he bagged 3 for 14 off his 4 overs.

In reply Barbados Under-23 Invitational succumbed to some fine bowling from Satimranji Dhindsa, Keifer Phill and Farhan Malik. The only batsmen to show any resistance to the Americas’ bowling were J. Padmore and J. Jones who batted at number seven and eight respectively. J. Jones struck 32 off 34 balls and including 3 fours and one six, while J. Padmore was left not out on 24 off 30 deliveries. He had one boundary in his knock, when the overs finished.

S. Dhindsa was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 15 off his spell of four overs.
