The NYCR youth cricket teams in addition to some members of the NYCR men’s senior team will be playing exhibition matches at Idlewild Park, Queens on Sunday October 17, 2010. The event would also be utilized to present awards to members of the region’s U15 squad who participated in the recently concluded USACA U15 tournament in Atlantic Region.
In addition, the region’s U19 and Senior teams qualified to participate in the USACA National U19 and Super League Tournaments in Florida in November, 2010. The USACA U19 tournament semi-finals and final tournament are scheduled for November 12 thru 14 and the Super League tournament on November 19 thru 21, 2010.
The programs for the day’s event are as follows:
10:00am – Opening Ceremony
10:15am – NYCR U15 vs USA Cricket Indoor U15 (Twenty20)
1:00pm – U15 presentation
1:30pm – U19/Seniors Combined vs U19/Seniors Combined
Food and sodas will be available for purchase at the venue as a fundraising effort to aid expenses for the U19 squad.
