Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat scoring 22 runs off of the first over which was aided by 13 wides. A 53 runs opening stand between Keishun Smith (11) and Alex Dore (51) set the pace for a huge total for the boys from Bermuda.

However, they lost wickets at regular intervals as the middle collapsed and Bermuda was bowled out for 174 runs in 34 overs. Delray Rawlings with 18 runs and Joshua Commissiong with 16 showed some resilience. Gayan Ferdinands was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for 30 runs. Manula Adihetly helped out with 3 wickets for 39 runs.

In reply Canada started off well with a first wicket stand of 31 runs before Kurt Ramdath was out caught by Perrozi off the bowling of Rawlings for 13 runs.

Canada lost three more quick wickets and was reeling at 54 for 4 wickets. Abraash Khan and Miraj Patel consolidated for the fifth wicket and took the score to 106 before A Khan was out for 18 runs. Patel carried the attack to the Bermudans only to be out caught for 41 runs when the score was 136.

Canada was eventually bowled out for 154 runs.
