The USA squad includes Shayan Abdul Ghani, Salman Ahmad. Kalim Ahmed, Sohaib Choudhry, Abhijit Joshi, Cameron Mirza, Prashant Nair, Prumjot Panesar, Mital Patel, Amarnauth Persaud, Gurpreet Sandhu, Gregory Raj Sewdial, Hammad Shahid, Trevor Singh, Jodhbir Singh, Jasdeep Singh, Pranay Suri and Steven Taylor.

The USA will engage their West Indian counterparts in four 50-overs matches in preparation for the ICC Under-19 Global Qualifier scheduled to start on July 28 in Ireland. Fourteen players for the ICC Global Qualifier will be selected prior to the series against the West Indies, that announcement is expected to be made on June 29.

According to USA Cricket’s General Manager, the series against an accomplished Full Member Under-19 squad will hopefully serve as a starting point of preparation for the USA players who gave an excellent account of themselves in the ICC Americas Under-19 qualifier series earlier this year in Florida. The USA team was unbeaten in that series under the watchful eyes of former India player turned coach Robin Singh.

All of the matches against the West Indies Under-19 players are expected to be played at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida.
