USA Cricket is pleased to announce its squad of 14 players to travel to represent the United States in the ICC T20 World Cup Americas’ Regional Final in Bermuda, where they will attempt to qualify to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in the UAE.
The selection camp was held in Los Angeles over the past few weeks where players were asked to demonstrate their skills, fitness and commitment to the selection process. The entire squad who competed must all be praised for their effort and commitment over the training camp, that included a very high-quality playing standard that made the final selection decisions difficult.
“We are very satisfied with the final 14 players selected for Bermuda,” said Chairman of Selectors Ricardo Powell. “We had three weeks of intense training going into this WT20 Regional Final and we think the boys are fully prepared.”
The USA will play Canada, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands in the WT20 Americas’ Region Final from August 15 to 25, 2019.
