2013 PSAL Cricket Season Submitted by: Ricky Kissoon Tajinder Singh of Martin Van Buren (2-0) slams an unbeaten ton (106*) against newly added Springfield Gardens (0-2) on the opening day of the 2013 PSAL Cricket season. An unbeaten 60 runs by MD Muhtash Fuhad of Jamaica (1-0) surprised Richmond Hill (0-1) in the final over at Kissena Park, while Midwood (1-0) and William Bryant (1-0) recorded easy wins against Lafayette (0-1) and Aviation (0-1).Β  On April 4th. Lehman (1-0), Clinton (1-0), Sheepshead Bay (1-0), and Hillcrest (1-0) recorded their first win of the season.Β  On the following day, second year team John Bowne (1-0) chased down 172 posted by HS of Construction (0-1), while defending Champion, Long Island City (1-0) handed Springfield Gardens its second defeat of the season.Β  Martin Van Buren continued its winning streak after defeating Thomas Edison (0-1) by 80 runs, while two time Champion Newcomers HS (1-0) easily took care of Aviation at Baisley Pond Park.
