The United States of America Cricket Association will host its National U-19 Cricket Combine at Woodley Park, Los Angeles, California from May 23-25, 2015.
Thirty players from around the country have been invited to compete in this event. The entire 2014 U-17 USA squad of 17 will participate in the Combine. USA national selectors identified an additional 13 players based on their performances in local leagues over the past year.
At the end of the Combine, the national selectors will shortlist 17 players to represent USA at the Pepsi ICC Americas U-19 Division 1 Championship in Bermuda from July 5-11, 2015.
The Pepsi ICC Americas U-19 Division 1 Championship will consist of a first round of 50-over matches, followed by a 50-over, second round for the top three ranked teams. At the end of the two rounds, the top ranked team will qualify for the 2016 ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup, as well as the opportunity to participate in the West Indies Cricket Board U-19 Regional Championship.
The second ranked team in this tournament will progress to the U-19 ICC Cricket World Cup repechage event to be held later in 2015 (date/venue TBC)
