USA Cricket’s Executive Secretary John Aaron is is set to deliver the keynote address at the 50th anniversary awards dinner of the Frocester Cricket Club in Gloucester, England this weekend.
Invited by the UK based cricket club to be its guest speaker, Aaron is expected to cover the American cricket scene in his address on Saturday, October 9. The Frocester cricket club located in Pounds Close, about a two hour-drive outside of London, and has a very vibrant youth program with a cricket development program geared for players as young as 10 years old. The club sports five teams, with two of them in the West of England Premier 1 Division.
Aaron stated that he was delighted at receiving the invitation to be the guest speaker at the club’s awards dinner and was looking forward to “spreading the gospel of cricket” and the growth of the sport in the USA.
