ACF Announces Resignation of CEO Jamie Harrison
Jamie Harrison who has been ACF’s CEO since September 2013 is leaving the post to focus his energies on grassroots youth cricket in the form of USYCA and MYCA, two organizations that he founded and heads. A search for a new CEO is getting underway.
We at ACF respect Jamie’s decision and wish him nothing but the best. ACF and for that matter US cricket is indebted to Jamie, as ACF CEO, for his many valuable initiatives and contributions to the sport in the US and we look forward to more of the same through his youth cricket activities.
The ACF, since it was founded in May 2012 by US cricket stakeholders and enthusiasts across the country, has been focused on building a democratic, transparent and inclusive national cricket organization. Through its landmark constitution, not only are men’s hardball leagues fully represented but voices have been given to all constituents — women’s cricket, youth cricket, college cricket and softball cricket as well as players and clubs.
With its successful American Cricket Championship League (ACCL) for its men’s hardball leagues, continued support and sponsorship of women’s and youth cricket, its partnerships with USYCA, Newbery, Hammer, CricHQ and Sadler, and its coaching and training clinics, ACF is actively building out cricketing activities across the country. ACF is now well on it’s way to establishing a sound and stable foundation on which US cricket can deservedly flourish.
