American Cricket Federation
The American Cricket Federation is pleased to announce an online Level 1 cricket-coaching course designed to expand coach education opportunities in the United States. This eLearning offering is being created with affordability and flexibility in mind, with costs to participants set at less than $50.
ACF’s online coaching program will feature elements such as the Special Topics, webinars, an Online Resource Library with coach’s forum, and Google Hangout seminars.
Jatin Patel, Director of Coaching said, “The changing game of cricket challenges us to quickly adapt, and this new platform allows instruction to be delivered at the convenience of coaches.
“ACF is already rapidly progressing in its mission to train more coaches, but opportunities have been limited by the number of available instructors at this time. With this online course, we allow for immediate expansion nationwide that can train many regional instructors and supply more instructors to reach local area needs.
“More instructors means more local options for new coaches to get needed training. Through eLearning, ACF becomes a coaching instructor’s partner in that endeavor to meet the future demand for the cricket coaches in USA.”
The initial pilot rollout of the ACF coaching instructors’ online course is scheduled for February and will be offered to a limited number of individuals. The course is designed as a 12-week long program and will have an application deadline of 12:01AM February 7.
Anyone can apply online but selection priority will be given to ACF members (league, team, and individual).
