Richmond Hill won the toss and elected to bat first in bright sunshine at the Cage. Bilal Shahid was giving the new ball, and in the first over he had former Guyana player Vishal Nagamotoo brilliantly caught by Z. Majeed at first slip for a duck.
Royo Sankar joins his brother Debo Sankar and the pair put on 25 for the second wicket. Mohammed was brought on from the Foch Blvd end and immediately had Debo Sankar caught trying to go over the top.Zaheer Sadloo came to the wicket and was smartly caught by Asgarally behind the stumps for a duck off the bowling of the spinner Zaaid Majeed.
MMZ kept the pressure on the strong Richmond Hill team. Royo Sankar played well before he was caught off the bowling of Mohammed for 35, Shameer Sadloo was batting well until Bilal was brought back, and the first ball he had Sadloo trap in front off a very good off cutter. Dereck McDonald came in and stayed to the end until he was stumped by Asgarally off Saumil Gandhi. Deonauth Baksh and Gandhi bowled brilliantly to clean up the rest of the team. Richmond Hill finishes at 137 all out off 37.2 overs,
