Cassius Burton’s All Round Performance Takes Combine XI To Final

The Southern Connecticut Cricket Association semi-final between Westhaven and Combine XI was played on September 11th. Combine X1 won the toss and asked Westhaven to take first strike.
Cassius Burton picked up 3 for 34 and struck 63 as Combine XI beat Westhaven.
Westhaven compiled 168 all out from 40 overs, Jonathan Smith 33, Rajesh 26, Raj 16, Sata 16 was the only respectable scores. Bowling for Combine XI, leg spinner Cassius Burton 8 overs, 34 runs, 3 wickets, David Artwel 7 overs, 27 runs, 2 wickets, Grayson Pacquite 7 overs, 33 runs, 2 wickets, Adam Sanford 8 overs, 29 runs, 1 wicket and Vinny Simons 6 overs, 23 runs, 1 wicket.
Combine X1 169 for 4 wickets, Cassius Burton 63, David Artwel 20 not out, Mark Audain 18, Grayson Pacquite 16, Adam Sanford 13 not out. Bowling for Westhaven, Ganesh Swanna 7 overs, 36 runs, 2 wickets, Nikhail Tappan 5 overs, 15 runs, 1 wicket and Jinesh 5 overs, 19 runs, 1 wicket.
Combine XI winning by 6 wickets and will meet Cavaliers in the finals at Newfield Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut next Sunday.
