CCUSA Makes Changes To The Dates For Guyana Tour

Cricket Council USA is making a change to the scheduled dates for the Guyana tour to take on the Amazon Warriors and the Guyana National team. The new dates are: June 20th. to June 28th.. CCUSA’s All Stars will play three games while on the continent; 2 games against the Amazon Warriors and one game against the Guyana National team.

There will be return games against the Amazon Warriors when the team visits Florida later this year. While in Guyana, CCUSA’s management personnel will meet with members of the Guyana Cricket administration to discuss other possible opportunities.

Speaking about the pending trip, Chairman and CEO, Maq Qureshi said, “This presents an excellent opportunity for CCUSA’s players from across the USA to experience cricket at a higher level, as they will encounter both the Amazon Warriors and the Guyana National team. The experience should prove invaluable for those players who are looking to play at a higher level”.

The core of the USA All Star team will be selected after Cricket Council USA’s National Championship which will take place in Chicago over the Memorial-Day weekend.

Cricket Council USA has regions across the USA, and its regional directors are very excited about the National tournament in Chicago, the tour to Guyana, the very popular year-end US Open, and several other upcoming events   The regional directors are:
Kris Prasad – New York
Shuja Khan – Atlantic
Shiraz Najan – North Central
Mustafa Hemani – South Central
Donna Bowes – New England
Vishwa Gaddamanugu – Pacific
Ifran Khan – South East

Persons wishing to play in any of these tournaments must register with the regional directors in their respective regions.
