A good spell of swing bowling from Mahadeo ‘Pacey’ Montana restricted the aggressive East Side Warrior team. Winning the toss and elected to bat East Side Warriors were bowled out for 146 runs in 24 overs. Number seven batsman Faisal with 48 runs and number nine batsman Bilal with 21 runs were the top scorers. Bowling for Enmore, Montana grabbed 5 for 46, S. Jainarine 2 for 9 and skipper Asif Ali 2 for 45.
Enmore in reply were 132 runs for the loss of 6 wickets when a caught behind appeal against skipper Asif Ali was turned down by the ruling umpire, resulting of East Side Warrior walking off the field, thereby, forfeiting the game. Marlon Kallicharran with 38 runs and the dependable Safraz Ali with 37 runs were the top scorers. Sabie Rafique of East Side Warriors took 2 for 29.
