HS For Construction, Trade, Engineering And Architecture Registered First Win

CTEA registered their first win in two games; they beat Bronx Science High School at Ferry Point in the Bronx by four runs.

CTEA batted first and scored 98 runs with 14 year old Vikram scoring a patient 23 not out opening the batting and Ahamed scoring 17 valuable runs. Bronx Science in reply scored 94 in their allotted overs.

It was a very exciting game of cricket for these youngsters and their Coach Mr. Jason Saoamanca who is now learning the game with some help from former Guyana youth player Ajaz Asgarally.CTEA is playing in the league for the first time.

The team is Captain Trinidadian born. Sixteen year old sophomore student Suraj Janwani, Suraj is a very good all-rounder. The team is made up of mostly freshman students and most of them are now learning the game. These youngsters are very happy that CTEA is a part of the PSAL and would like to thank the commissioner of the league to give them this wonderful opportunity .Coach Saoamanca is very please with his team performance and is very optimistic that his team can cause a few upset this year.
