India And Bangladesh To Play Warm-Up Game In New York

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is set to welcome the public for the first time on June 1, with a warm-up match between Bangladesh and India ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Early ticket access begins Wednesday at 10:00am EST for Nassau County residents, existing World Cup ticket-holders, and fans registered for pre-sale access. Remaining tickets will be released to the general public on Thursday at 10:00am EST.

To participate in the pre-sale, fans need an access code. Nassau County officials will email pre-sale codes to County residents, while those who have already purchased World Cup tickets will receive their codes directly from T20 USA, Inc. Other fans can sign up for early access here.

General public tickets will be available at tickets.t20worldcup.com starting at 10:00am on Thursday, May 23.

“We’re excited to open this warm-up match to the public, especially providing a chance for local residents to experience the event in their own community,” said T20 USA CEO Brett Jones. “Tickets and hospitality packages are still available for every match at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, and we encourage fans to purchase early to ensure a full venue for these amazing athletes.”

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up match fixtures have been announced, running from Monday, May 27 to Saturday, June 1 across the USA and two venues in Trinidad and Tobago. The 16 warm-up matches will be hosted at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, and Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

Warm-up matches will be 20 overs per side without international T20 status, allowing teams to field all members of their 15-player squad. Teams can opt to play up to two warm-up matches depending on their arrival schedule.

Only one match at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium and one match in the West Indies will be open to fans.
