Will Flasherz be glittering as Time Square this Sunday afternoon? Or are they just a flash in the pan? The Flasherz team is made of some of the most talented young players, playing in division two for the last few seasons. The time has come for them to make that big leap into division one.
But first they will have to get past the more closely knit mature Wolfpack team. The Wolfpack team has won in this division before and will be looking to put Flasherz away early. This would not come easy as the Flasherz has dominated their group and have only lost one game so far this season.
Flasherz has a good batting line up and will be looking to get a solid start from their openers Randy Narayan and Richard. Their skipper Rocco Dindayal has had some good scores this season and will be looking to continue his form with the bat. The middle order batting will come from their all rounder’s the Singh’s brothers, Dharampal and Vikash.
The Flasherz strength is their bowling and the same can be said about the Wolfpack, two strong bowling teams. Flasherz will be counting on Dharampal, Vikash, Robin Sookraj, Vikram and Sookwah to put away the Wolfkack batsmen cheaply.
Wolfpack a team that has won championship before will be looking to add one more to their list early in the season. Should their batting get settled, they are capable of getting huge score the batting will be led by Zahir Bacchus, Hafeez Bacchus, Anand Hargobin, Eric Jaikaran and their skipper Dev Autar. Jaikaran their most productive batsman has not gotten huge scores lately, will this be the week he carry the team?
Their first three bowlers has done a fine job all season and accounted for most of the wickets in the team success so far. The quickest of their bowlers Rudy Baichoolall, Wazir Asrula and Mowla could be very dangerous and have any batting side in trouble early.
The Wolfpack skipper Dev Autar a good all rounder has always done well in the finals, if the pacers can’t get the job done, you are sure to see him doing some off break bowling. Both teams are equally matched and this will be a good finals.
