Records are meant to be broken and Troy Mars of John Adams HS made history on Saturday, May 28th after he blasted 133 in less than 60 deliveries, the highest individual score during the PSAL Twenty/20 regular cricket season. Mars was on fire against a 7-2 depleted Lehman side at the new and revamped Baisley South Cricket Ground. This is the fourth century scored by a PSAL player this year, and the first for any player on the revamped Baisley South Cricket Ground in 2011 thus far.

Franklin D. Roosevelt HS of Brooklyn remains unbeaten, whilst Aviation remains very optimistic about sneaking in the playoffs. It’s has been a very long and blessed season of PSAL cricket, but collective efforts were made by coaches, players, PSAL organizers, and umpires to ensure that all players were given full opportunities to participate and have fun playing cricket for their respective schools.
The 2011 PSAL cricket playoffs is scheduled to begin on June 6th but how many teams will make the playoffs this year? Based on last’s year standings, teams with win percentage of 0.500 and better made the playoffs. If this is the same for 2011 then one can conclude that the following teams are definitely in the playoffs: *Please note these are not the final seeding:
