Tri-City vs TUCC at Waterbury CT
Match won by Tri-City
Batting first, Tri-City were staked to a 219 run total on the strength of 49 runs from skipper John Persaud, 42 from Fizel “G” Husain, and 33 from Ray “the Assassin” Cecil.
TUCC were all out for 169 in 32 overs. Top scorers were Verun with 42, Chanderpaul with 26, and Raj with 22.
Bowling highlights for TUCC were Punter’s remarkable 3/14 performance and Kishan’s 2/14.
For Tri-City’s bowlers, Fizel Husain led the way with an excellent 3/18, followed by Ray Cecil’s 3/29 haul. Ashok Addikopula chipped in with 2/21, and Mike Persaud added a stingy 2/7.
Statics vs National at VCP

A tie is an unusual occurrence, but after consulting the league rules, it was determined that Strikers would be declared the winner by virtue of having the better aggregate run rate

Batting first, Pak Punjab were 132 all out in 33.2 overs. Top scorer was Usman Iftikhar with 24.
Pak America managed a respectable 126/9 (Pak America traveled one short). Top scorer for Pak America was Assad Hussain with 30.

For Pak America’s bowlers, Asif Raza was the class of the bunch, taking four wickets and only giving up 4 runs!
