Massachusetts SCL Beats Brooklyn CL In Friendly Encounter

On July 3rd, Brooklyn Cricket League (BCL) took on Massachusetts State Cricket League (MSCL) in a 25 overs a side match, celebrating the BCL 80th anniversary at Dorchester, Massachusetts.
On a damp pitch BCL won the toss and elected to take first strike. BCL compiled 127 for 7 from 25 overs, main contributors were Ryan Neptune 32, Tevin Campbell 26, Romario Neil 23 not out, Mark Audain 22.
Bowling for MCL: A. Sicheran 5 overs, 22 runs, 3 wickets, Fazal Alam 3 overs, 17 runs, 1 wicket, K. Planty 5 overs, 1 maiden, 18 runs, 1 wicket.
MSCL replied with 128 for 5 from 24 overs, Fazal Alam top scored 58 retired out, A. Browne 25, T. Sanichar 16, Joseph Buffonge 13.
Bowling for BCL: Romario Neil 4 overs, 14 runs, 2 wickets and Mark Audain 5 overs, 29 runs, 2 wickets. MCL winning by 5 wickets.
