As many may know, the ICC World Cup Qualifier 2012 is just around the corner. It will be staged from the 13th through the 24th of March in the grand, United Arab Emirates known for its beauty and luxury. Throughout the 12 days, 16 teams will be fiercely competing for two places in the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka.
Twenty one year old Azurdeen Andy Mohammed will be representing USA in the much awaited tournament. Andy is a young and talented left- handed batsman who has shown tremendous passion for the game. This young man has impressed a lot of people with his dedication and commitment for cricket in our region for the past years.
His captain Ajaz Asgarally, team members and supporters of the Meten-Meer-Zorg cricket club would like to congratulate Andy for his many achievements throughout his impressive career and to wish him the best of luck in the upcoming matches. MMZ would also like to recognize Andy as a major contributor to the success of the organization and they would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to him. MMZ is overjoyed to have such an outstanding athlete be a part of their cricket club. Job well-done Andy and we look forward to seeing you compete in UAE and taking team USA to the ICC World Twenty20 Sri Lanka.
