Azurdeen Mohammed will lead the charge for Meten-Meer-Zorg when they take on the favorite Atlantis Cricket Team in the first semi final match this Sunday at the Baisley Park (Cage) game time 10:00 am.
This is the second semi finals of year for the MMZ boys, earlier they were beaten in the semi finals of the 40 overs competition by Everest ACS, a game that was full of controversial decisions. With that game behind their back, MMZ is hoping to go all the way in the shorter version of the game.
They will be led by the inform and talented USA player Andy Mohammed along with Former Guyana under 19 player Deonauth Baksh,all rounder Zaaid Majeed, Rondy Ramnarine, Saumil Ghandi, Neel Patel, Fiaz Asgarally, Raul Hoyte, Keith Mungalsingh, Keith Edie, PSAL players Rayhinul Islam, Rocky Kowchai and 17 year old hard hitting batsman Imdad Khan, these boys are ready for the experienced Atlantis cricket team.
Ajaz Asgarally, who is on the side line for this competition strongly believe in his youths and is very confident that these boys can win the T/20 competition in only their 2nd year in the league. Asgarally who is a strong supporter for youths in this region is hoping that MMZ can create an upset this year.
