On August 4th at Marine Park B, in the Brooklyn cricket league, knockout T20 competition, Middlesex vs. Panthers, Middlesex won the toss and elected to take first strike. Middlesex opening pair Donwell Hector and skipper Mark Audain, the pair give Middlesex a good start. Mark Audain was the first to go when the score was on 46, soft dismissal, caught in the covers for 1 from 3 balls off Panthers skipper Salman Ahmad bowling. Tegana McKenzie and Hector repaired the inning nicely, but when the score on 76 runs, Donwell Hector was out, skiing the ball, caught at point for a magnificent 51, (5 x 4s, 2 x 6s) from Salman Ahmad bowling. Afron Byam join McKenzie and the two youngsters batted sensible repairing the inning, Tegana McKenzie went in 17th over for a well played 26 (2 x 4s, 1 x 6), Afron Byam followed for compact 28, Alston Bacchus finished on 18 not out and vice-captain Rod Michael the finisher, on 10 not out, Middlesex 163/5 from 20 overs.
