Middlesex CC Remains Unbeaten After Third Win Against St. Catherine

On Sunday June 9th Middlesex CC took on St. Catherine CC at Marine Park C in Brooklyn. Middlesex playing with eight players won the toss and elected to bat and the end of their 40 allotted overs Middlesex posted a total of 208 for 5 wickets.

Treldon Keagan McMillan made his maiden half century for Middlesex, he anchored the inning with a well played 52, the reliable Dominic Audain, hit his 3rd consecutive half century of the season with a swash bucking 50 not out, (2×4, 3 x 6), good support came from Tegana McKenzie with a responsible 33, vice-captain Rod Michael, a workman like 21.

Bowling for St. Catherine, D. Bloodman 8 overs, 33 runs, 2 wickets, E. Knight 6 overs, 36 runs, 1 wicket, S. Moughan 8 overs, 44 runs, 1 wicket.

St. Catherine was skittle out for 83 runs; Ian Sealy was the only batsman to offer any resistance to the Middlesex attack. Skipper Mark Audain cause the initial collapse with a brilliant opening spell, swing the ball both ways. The St. Catherine top order batsmen had no answer; he finished with 7 overs, 2 maidens, 13 runs, 2 Wickets. Off Spinner Treldon McMillan, bowled with immaculate accuracy and flight, produced figures of 8 overs, 18 runs, 3 wickets, Dominic Audain came in as the 5th bowler, bowled with express pace, and accuracy produced 6 overs, 2 maidens, 7 runs, 5 wickets.

Middlesex CC winning by 125 runs. So far this season, Middlesex has recorded wins in all three matches to remain unbeaten.
