In reply, Tri-City were successfully chasing and were 20 runs ahead ot Kings XI’s run rate at the 24th over when a hard rain fell and the match was abandoned. Per league rules, play reverted to the 10th over score, and at that point, Tri-City were behind by 4 runs, so Kings XI were awarded the match.
Top batsman was Fizel “G” Husain with 43, including five fours and two sixes. Raymond Cecil was close behind with 41, which included five boundaries.
Ravindra Singh was the best Kings XI bowler, with a 2/51 spell in six overs.
