Commonwealth Cricket League

With a perfect weather day ahead of them, two teams prepared for a battle. Pak-Punjab CC, looking to upset the defending of Commonwealth League champions, Seven Star CC, the stalwart of the league.
So, players can get home to spend some quality time with their families and celebrate Mother’s Day, both teams agreed to reduce the match to 30 from 35 overs.
Led by Muhammad Ghous, current USA national player, Pak-Punjab batted first and put up a daunting total of 211 in their 30 over allotment. Mohammad Ghous made 44 and Waqas made 74.
Bowling for Seven Stars, leg-spinner Sarmad 4 for 19 off 6 overs and off-spinner Ritchie Patel 2 for 13 off 6.
Requiring 7 runs per over from the get go. Seven Star openers Moshin Khan and Mikey Sewdial started their innings very methodically. They both look determined not to throw away their wicket and provide a solid foundation, which would enable their team to launch a blitz to chase down the target. Once again they both rotated the strike wisely while building a good total. Unfortunately after a solid start, Mikey Sewdial was bowled by a perfect yorker.
After which handy contributions were made by Greg Sewdial, Nadir Mohammad, Sarmad Khan, and the captain Vijay Seonarine. But while wickets fell from the other end, Moshin Khan held the fort down from the other end. He batted brilliantly for the rest of the match and led his team over the finish line almost single handedly. Seven Star 217 for 4 off 25 overs.
Moshin Khan finished with 103 not out. This is after putting up 90 not out in his previous innings. The man is wielding a fiery bat and has put all bowlers on notice!!!
