On bright sunny Sunday at 80th Street on the Conduit, Canje Cricket Club took on United Sports Club. United won toss and sent in Canje to take first strike. Canje start off with Murph Seeram and Asif Ally, the pair posted 48 for the first wicked Asif made 24 and Murph 13, Sudesh Persaud batted at 3 and played a Pollard innings with 3×6 and 1×4 for a quick 24 off 8 balls. Canje were 82 off 13 over for 3 wickets, but fine themselves in trouble when the lower order collapsed and was all out for 113.
United backing them self with this modest total, but Murph Seeram had different plans when he clean bowl both opener for ducks, one of which was bowl behind with back. Asif would continue with ball bowling his 5 overs and sneer 3 wickets, that would set the tone for canje first win this season.
Murph Seeram would then finish off United with figures of 5 overs 4 wickets for 5 runs.
