Press Release from Nabeel Ahmed
With so much going on in USACA Regions, leagues have realized that the time has come to make a move and get rid of people who are running USA cricket for years.
There are changes coming up in the regions for betterment of the democratic process. Some people who are used to hand-pick people for positions are getting up tight due to this change. Some people who are power hungry, they are now trying their best to gain some ground.
To keep the democratic process alive, I am suggesting an open debate of the presidential candidates in the AGM, in front of the presidents of the leagues. This will be a first in USACA history with a question and answer session before the elections so that people can hear from the candidates and then pick the candidate they feel will be best for USA cricket. Let candidates face the league presidents in the debate instead of people doing all the talking for them.
People are calling me to ask if I am serious about running for the position of the President because some candidates want to get the commitment from them that they will vote for them.
Let me make it very clear once again that I am running for the presidential seat without any strings attached. I am also going to go all out to protect the fairness and democratic process.
