Narine And Sreejon Named League’s MVP At 2015 Season Presentation

The Commonwealth Cricket League held its 34th Annual Presentation function which was held on March 12th, 2016 and was attended by well over 350 people.

Yash Shah-Mumbai Express
Shiv- Rebellious Stars CC
The top bowlers were:
Bilal Shahid-NYCCC
Asad Butt-Jaguars
Raffil-Madras CC
Adnan-Pak Punjab
Winning teams included:
Jaguars CC, Kashmiri Kings, NY Finest, Pioneer, Blackhawks, Combined Warriors, Yakusari and LI Lions.
The teams in the top Divisions that came out winners were Majestics CC, and National. The former walked off with 3 trophies while National CC were undefeated all season and only lost to Strikers in the finals.
The League’s two Most Valuable Players were Derick Narine of Majestics and Syed Hussain Sreejon of National.
Strikers cricket club, led by the imaginative skipper Irfan Malik, were crowned Champions in both of the League’s major competitions.
For Strikers, Irfan and young Kishan Dass were the leading wicket-takers. Ryan Rajmangal, a former Guyana youth player, scored 4 back-to-back 50’s. Shahid Shazad has scored 1 century in the regular season. Zamal Khan, wicket-keeper and star batsman par excellence. Possibly one of the best in USA.
Amir Khan an amazing all-round and delightful cricketer, Chandarpaul Hemraj who scored a brilliant 86 in the semi-final and is a consistent bowler. Both are back in Guyana.
