It’s the time to drum up the biggest T20 tournament on the west coast and organized by the Northern California Cricket Association (NCCA). The Indian Premier League style T20 tournament with title sponsorship by ANIKRIS along with other proud sponsors Khoobsurat and Max Real (Saeed Ahmed) brings the best players from across the country over the Fourth of July weekend. A total prize money pot of $10,000 will be distributed at the end of the tournament between the Championship team and the runners-up. Six team owners joined the auction and pulled 100 plus players over a very competitive bidding event on June 15.
All-Stars, Lions XI, Spinners, Silicon Valley X-Factors, Warriors, and California Zalmi are placed in two groups and will be playing six leagues to enter the knockout phase. The championship final will be played at Fremont Central Park under lights starting at 4.30 PM on Sunday, July 7, 2019.
The NCCA is expecting a few well-known international cricket officials to be present at the finals on July 7. The NCCA President Biju Nair is inviting all cricket lovers to come and watch the games at Fremont Central Park and Seabreeze Park. There will be live telecast of all the matches, and Biju Nair is inviting all cricket fans to follow NCCA on its Facebook for updates.
The ANIKRIS NPL T20 tournament committee led by Govardhan Gayam is in the final preparation stage of the tournament. Anuj Patel led the auction, team coordination, and negotiations, Ganesh Sanap is helping coordinate the logistics around umpiring, and Prakash Giri is organizing the live telecast of the tournament.
