Cricket the sport lovingly known as a gentleman’s game finds its way to New Britain, Connecticut. New Britain Social Cricket Club in collaboration with the City of New Britain Parks and Recreation bring you professional cricket games.
The stadium which is located at the Veteran’s Stadium Willow Brook Park in New Britain, Connecticut.

Starting September 2014, cricket lovers from New England and surrounding areas can enjoy championship games at Veteran’s Stadium Willow Brook Park during the afternoons and evenings. By offering cricket games at night, New Britain stands to contribute to the rapid development of T20 in the United States. A T20 game last approximately 2.5 hours. The new field named “New Britain Stingers Cricket Field” will be located 200 Mill Street on the grounds near the Rock Cats Stadium. This is a most welcomed and needed stadium in New England.
New Britain currently has a field at Walnut Hill Park where weekly games are played for qualifying games held by the Connecticut Cricket League. Unknown to some is the fact that Waterbury, New Britain, Hartford, Windsor and Bloomfield currently have one or two cricket fields. Our plan is to bring the final games from these locations to New Britain.
