Falcons Junior Sports Club (FJSC) to host American Cricket Federation (ACF) Level 1 and Level 2 Cricket Coach Certification Clinics in Edison, New Jersey on August 25 and 26. This is an ideal opportunity for those interested in becoming certified cricket coaches; more so at a time when the demand for qualified cricket coaches in the world is on the rise.
Level 1 clinic will be held on Aug. 25, Saturday half day clinic from 8:30 am – 2 pm. It’s free for ladies and PE teachers.
Level 2 will be held on Aug. 25, Saturday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm and continue on Aug. 26, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Spots are limited, so it’s a first come first served basis only. Successful participants will be awarded certificates of completion at the end of the clinic(s) and get access to free online follow-up support which will be included in the cricket coaches directory.
The ACF sponsored event for the members of Falcons Junior Sports Club with subsidized course fees, these subsidized Level 1 and Level 2 clinics would normally cost from $150 to $800 respectively. The clinics include all technical coaching equipment on both days. Participants are encouraged to bring their personal cricket gear for the clinic.

ACF Director of Coaching Jatin Patel, an accomplished coach and instructor, will supervise the clinics. He has conducted 14 Level 2 Cricket Coaching Clinics since 2015. He is very passionate about the sport of cricket, Coach Patel has made an impact on the cricket coaching landscape of the USA, and this positive initiative of the ACF cricket coaching program is an integral part of the growth of cricket, and the sport becoming a part of the USA sports environment.
The ACF Coach Certification Program has been established in 24 States, with Level 1 and 2 coaches as well as Level 1 Instructors. The program was launched in May 2014 for Level 1 and June 2015 for Level 2. As of July 1st 2018, 153 Level 2 and 3334 Level 1 coaches have been trained and certified through this ACF program. Counts excludes – School PE teachers and future coaches at 6 College and Universities. Aug. 1, 2018 ACF Coaching Program becomes Global to support cricket development worldwide.
