New Yorker Fitzroy Hayles Re-elected President

USA Cricket Umpires Association
Veteran Cricket Umpire Administrator Fitzroy Hayles was re-elected President of the United States of America Cricket Umpires Association, Inc., at the association’s Annual General held on Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Brooklyn, NY. The certified WICB and ICC recognized umpire will lead the body for the next two years.

Hayles overwhelmed his opponent, Cricket Hall of Famer Umpire Hammy Reid, in the bid to lead the USA national umpiring body.

Umpire Danny Khan from Florida was elected the association’s Vice-President, while veteran Umpire Mohammed Nabbie Baksh was retained as the chief Training and Examination Officer.

The officers elected to serve the Association in the positions contested for the next two years, are: Fitzroy Hayles, President; Danny Khan, Vice President; Mohammed S. Baksh, Secretary; Ravishankar Byrappagowda, Assistant Secretary, Quyaam Farrouq, Treasurer; Mohammed N. Baksh, Training Officer, with Grace Carrington and Aileen Naughton, Trustees of the association.
