Opener O’Neil Powell led the batting with a magnificent 117, his opening partner Danny Clarke missed out on a ton as he fell for 94. Other contributors were Bruce Blackwood 32 and Dennis Evans 27. The match came interesting close, Emperial needed 25 runs in 2 overs, Kavir Singh bowled the penultimate over for 5 runs, with 20 runs to get from the last over Captain Mark Audain bowled a brilliant over which went for 5 runs giving Middlesex a victory of 14 runs.
